Stacy Scales is a writer from the Napa Valley.  Writing stories since her childhood, Stacy began to establish a small presence as a travel blogger. In 2009, while Stacy was an undergrad at Cal, she started a blog called Travels with Toaster, which included a local section called Tourist in My Own Town for Napa adventures between travels.

In early 2011, Stacy met the then-Editor-in-Chief of the Bay Area’s best music blog, Spinning Platters, at a comedy show in San Francisco. Shortly thereafter, Stacy joined the staff, writing regular concert and comedy reviews for the site. It was with Spinning Platters that Stacy found what she calls her “place in rock & roll.” Realizing it was not likely that her passion would ever be her bread and butter, Stacy completed grad school in 2015 and began working in the field of mental health. To this day, Stacy continues to photograph concerts, write reviews, and interview artists whenever possible. She plans to continue covering music and comedy events for as long as she can.
